Greetings! You happened to find (under very low odds) my own website on MU*'s and such. This site will inform you on how I got in MU*'s, and codes availble, building tips etc.

Firstly, I began my life in the MU* world by getting introduced to a MUD (Multi User Dungeon). A MUD, is simply a place where you go too, create a character and travel through with this character all over the worlds that are housed there. No special hardware is needed, all you need is the internet, to connect you to the right server's address and port. I would strongly advise you visit http://www.mudconnect.com to visit go and find a MUD of your choice.

Anyway - when I first saw it - I was quite taken aback by the whole ordeal. I was shown it by a friend, who said it was really good. All it was, was text! Nothing but text. No pictures, nothing. Just colourful writing along the screen. I hated it from the word go - mainly because I was used to things happening for me in games like 'Battle Zone' and 'Jedi Knight, Dark Forces 2'. I never even saw a MUD again until a few weeks later - when I ran out of things to do. For some reason - I stayed there. It was a weird habbit I got into - and it drove my parents nuts, cause I was on the internet all the time.

So I began my MUD'ing experience from there - which happened to be 'Medievia'. This MUD alone, alows you to create a person, either a Mage, Cleric, Warrior or Thief and lets you go around developing skills for that Person. It was a great MUD to start off in, mainly because it was so original and huge. A mixture of overland maps, and dragon riding, quests, and killing. It was great..

I soon rose in levels, got to level 25 and began to dawdle. It was now getting a bit boring. I had played 300 hours on it totally, and was getting sick of it. So I hunted down for some new MUD's to play. It was only now that I realized how bad some MUD's really are. I happened to start on a brilliant one - with loveable immortals, 1000 players or so on /all/ the time. I decided that I would like to find a Dragonball Z related MUD - where instead of being mages, clerics, you could be Saiyans and Nameks. I found my first DB MUD, DB Series which got me started. It soon went down though - and I was forced to move on.

I jumped to here and there, hunting for a MUD that would keep me for a decent amount of time. I eventually found 'The Mud connector'. It was the best site I have ever come across. Hundreds upon hundreds of MUD's, listed in alphabetical order. It was alot better than typing in yahoo; 'DBZ Telnet games'. I experienced a rather different assortment of MUD's, and learnt about the different forms they come in: Smaug, Circle, Rom to name a few. (See my CODE page for more info on these)

This is when I discovered Dragonball Z World. Truly, the best DBZ MUD out there. I started up - and I still regulary find myself back there. I also discovered Dragonball Saga, which was basically the same except for a few minor things. These soothed my MUD'ing needs for a few months.

Alright, so here I was - going into my second year of MUDing. It was pretty much, same old same old. So I decided - why not build one for myself? I soon learnt the art of Coding and Building. Discovering that I had no natural brain in Coding, I decided to take up being a builder. I did this, and played MUD's for a mixture amount of time over the next months.

As I grew in age - I began to take up an interest in Star wars, and with the release of Episode 1 not long before - why wouldn't I? I began to take up starwars MUDS as well as DBZ ones.

RP. The two letters that would soon change my life - and experince in MUD'ing. I had yet to experience any though. Being on Dragonball Z world, I found an RP session, and I decided to see what it was all about. (See my RP section). Finding that I greatly loved RP - I did it on MUD's from then on in. I found though - that MUD's themselves were not soothing my tastes. I was going into grade 10, and my imagination was beginning to broaden. It is then when I discovered MUSH, MUX.

Unlike MUDs, MUSH and MUX are RP only. There are NO battle systems. You RP the battle, RP everything. I joined my first MUX; the Zelda one (forget its name) and got myself a Feature Character (a character that is actually in the game). She was Ruto. I RP'd as much as I could there - but found the playerbase was too small to RP often. I twindled on different codes - occasionally going back to Dragonball Z world, RPing there as much I could- back to DB Saga.. Looking for an answer. Before I knew it, I was in grade 11 and Episode 2, Attack of the clones was released. I fell in love with Star wars all over again.

I had never thought of going to a starwars MUSH or MUX - and I did go to a few. I finally found a home though in Rise of the Sith. A brilliant MUX - with lovely people and a great staff to talk to. Then, christmas in 2002 came and I got Lord of the Rings video! I fell in love with this as well, and I saw the Two Towers not long after it came out. Already, when I looked it up there were a few Lord of the Rings MUD's, MUX's, and MUSH's. I soon found Elendor - and stuck with that.

So that brings me to where I am now. I have basically given up on MUDs, with only a few seeing my appearence, such as Dragonball z World, and DB saga. Occasionally, I also build on a few different thigns. I now consider myself above average with building.
